Amanda Barnhart

Hi. I’m Amanda. Part art director, food stylist and cat lady; Maryland transplant and O'More College of Design Alum (2010).

Plated Color is an extension of the foodie I am at heart. Originally a food blog transformed into food styling and art direction for various clients like Dr. Axe, Edible Nashville, Cottage Hill Magazine, and LifeWay.

Currently, I'm the Art Director at She Reads Truth, a community of people reading God’s Word every day through an app & printed study materials. You’ll find me curating the latest study book designs, press checking 30 books a year, and directing and styling product photo shoots.

Before exiting the advertising world in 2015 for She Reads Truth, I was an art director at GS&F, a fully-integrated agency in Nashville, working on national B2B and consumer-facing accounts, like Bridgestone America, Avenue Bank, and Hunt Brother’s Pizza. I’ve also spent time coordinating design for a publicly traded health care real estate invest trust where I fell in love with charts and annual reports.

Clients include: Bloomsbury Farm, BLC Textiles, Bridgestone Americas, Cottage Hill Magazine, Delvin Farm, Edible Nashville, Green Bean Delivery, Herban Market, Hunt Brothers Pizza, LifeWay, She Reads Truth, Thryve Magazine, Tractor Supply Co., Your Williamson Magazine
