Hello March. Technically, month 3 of this blogging journey. It's hard to believe. I didn't start this blog to "be a blogger." I took the plunge into this world as a means to capture and store recipes and photography, learn about food styling and exercise that area of creativity. (As an added bonus, the accountability and OCD in me to post every Tuesday, at least, forces me to stay creative week after week). To change the pace, have fun, and dream big, for the next five weeks (each Tuesday in March) I'll be sharing a pretty list of fun things to cook with, organize stuff in, and plate colorful food on. Each list features product photography of how I'd love to grow my dream kitchen, all centered around a power packed protein I keep stored in my pantry.
This week my protein is Ancient Harvest Inca Red Quinoa. A colorful version of normal quinoa, the taste not wavering from the normal color grain in my opinion. I love to pair red quinoa with red onions, sautéed kale, and roasted sweet potatoes. Stocking a pantry with protein leverages healthy, sustainable choices at every meal.
