PROTEIN & PANTRY LIST, 2

We've made it to Tuesday. Not too promising in a busy week... Nonetheless each day holds promise and I'm seeing it all in black & white today. Feast your eyes on a pretty list of fun things to cook with, organize stuff in, and plate colorful food on. These wish list items feature how I'd love to grow my dream kitchen, all centered around a power packed protein I keep stored in my pantry. This week my protein is Wild Rice. Compared to most other whole grains, wild rice is slightly higher in protein and is a good source of fiber (according the the Whole Grains Council). I just made a recipe using wild rice, paired with basmati rice & cranberries (I can't wait to share it!). Stocking a pantry with protein leverages healthy, sustainable choices at every meal.
